SPApreneurs was born a year ago, this is its story

When two female entrepreneurs meet—one specializing in digital communication and media, and the other an international relations specialist and esthetician—very interesting things can happen. Their conversations are filled with ideas, different perspectives, and questions that open up new possibilities.


Two disciplines unite to boost the beauty business


For several years, Corpo e Alma SPA has been a space for training, growth, and connection with women dedicated to the world of beauty and wellness. Alma already offered courses focused on different areas of the industry, working directly with professionals seeking to specialize and continue growing within the sector.


Later, the idea arose to integrate a new learning area related to social media and digital presence. That's how I decided to join the courses, teaching classes focused on communication and digital content for beauty and spa businesses. What began as a collaboration within the in-person courses gradually grew into something bigger.

From this dynamic, Corpo e Alma Academy was born, a project that sought to bring this knowledge to an online format and create new learning opportunities for more people interested in professionalizing their businesses. We began working with students, specialists, and guest experts who taught courses related to different areas of the spa industry, from treatments and trends to administration, sales, and digital tools.


However, as we progressed with the academy, we also realized that something more was needed: a space where we could share ideas, news, innovation, and conversations about what was happening in the beauty and wellness industry globally. We wanted to build a community where estheticians and entrepreneurs could stay informed, find inspiration, and discover new opportunities within the sector.


It was then that the initial idea for SPApreneurs began to take shape in early 2025. Months later, in May of that same year, the first edition of the project was launched. At that time, SPApreneurs functioned primarily as an educational initiative in which we worked with small groups of students and collaborated with guest specialists to develop various courses focused on the spa and business world.



Over time, the vision evolved. The idea arose to transform SPApreneurs into a magazine and platform focused on sharing trends, innovation, and news relevant to the beauty, wellness, and technology industries. From innovations in skincare and devices to new ways of understanding well-being and the customer experience, SPApreneurs began to establish itself as a space to observe where the industry is heading.


Today, the project continues to grow with the same intention with which it began: to share knowledge, promote new ideas and connect with more people passionate about the world of beauty, SPA and wellness.
