La Roche-Posay presents “Buoni Sole,” an initiative that distributes coupons for sunscreen at various locations, aiming to expand access to sun protection and promote its daily use. The initiative shifts skincare from an individual perspective to a more collective one.
The project introduces a different perspective on sun protection. Beyond the product itself, it focuses on availability and the real-world conditions that enable its use. Sun exposure is no longer addressed solely through recommendations but is instead linked to the concrete possibility of accessing sun protection at key moments.

This type of initiative also connects with a social dimension of skincare. Skin is understood within broader contexts—such as public spaces, climate, and urban habits—where care depends on both information and available infrastructure. Prevention is built upon systems that facilitate action.
At the same time, a conversation opens up about how skin health strategies are designed. Sunscreen is positioned as a resource that can be integrated into community dynamics, moving closer to models where access and education play a central role.
When skin care is framed as an issue of access, what new forms of intervention become possible?

This case encourages us to consider care beyond individual service. Integrating practical recommendations, facilitating access to products, or educating about their use in specific situations can broaden the impact of the work done both inside and outside the treatment room.
